Description: The cluster head is selected by the random number generated by nodes in the hierarchical routing protocol which is implementing Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH). As a result, the cluster head may be chosen randomly and be distributed asymmetrically. Focus on this problem, this paper introduces a function to improve the problem. This function uses the relative distance between nodes and base station and the round number as its parameters. Hence, the distribution of cluster head can be symmetrical through changing parameters of the function, and. With the increasing of running time, every node in the network has the chance to be a cluster head, that is, the energy consumption could be balance. The simulation result shows that the lifetime of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has been prolonged about 14 . -The cluster head is selected by the random number generated by nodes in the hierarchical routing protocol which is implementing Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH). Description: —As WSN is a resource-constrained network, especially the limited energy, so it must maintain smaller router information and reduce the energy consumption as much as possible. This paper briefly introduces the wireless sensor network, and analysis the problems existed in LEACH routing protocol. Put forward the improved algorithm based on LEACH cluster head multi-hops algorithm, and under considering the premise of node energy, consider the optimum number of cluster head and selecting cluster node ,and through the use of limiter the number of nodes in each cluster to balance the energy depletion of each node. It could balance energy consumption and prolong the lifetime of sensor network through the use of algorithm. Emulation result indicates it is effective.-—As WSN is a resource-constrained network, especially the limited energy, so it must maintain smaller router information and reduce the energy consumption as much as possible. Description: As we know, the energy needed for sensors should be electrical. So the rst step before start to work is to convert environmental energy to electrical one. Inside the node there are dierent components for sensing the area, collecting data and processing the data. So the main dierent part of this kind of nodes, in compare of WSN nodes, is the power part. Once the stored energy reach to a certain amount, the power supply for micro controller and transceiver will start to work. They will continue to work until they have energy, as soon as the energy nish, they stops and energy storage device start to work to save energy again. The other fact should be consider about EH-WSN node is that the available energy can change in dierent nodes. So every node has its own harvesting rate.

Description: Sensor networks are emerging as a new tool for habitat monitoring in nature preserves, monitoring and gathering events in hazardous environments, surveillance of buildings, and surveillance of enemy activities in a battlefield environment. Nodes in a sensor network are severely constrained by energy, storage capacity and computing power. To prolong the lifetime of the sensor nodes, designing efficient routing protocols is critical.

Description: A combining breadth-first search (BFS) or depth-first search (DFS) with aware range to find minimum connected dominating set A backbone in a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) reduces the communication overhead, increases the bandwidth efficiency, decreases the overall energy consumption and thus increases network operational life. The nodes in a wireless sensor network forward data towards a sink via other nodes. The limited resources on the nodes require minimum energy to be spent in this energy consuming task. This necessitates a virtual backbone that can minimize the number of hops required to reach the sink assuming that all nodes have equal transmission range. In the wireless domain, this backbone is a minimum connected dominating set. In this paper, I propose using breadth-first search (BFS) or depth-first search (DFS) with given range to find minimum connected dominating set. Please visit: http://iftekharkabir1987.wordpress.com/

Description: Mobile wireless sensor networks (MWSNs) have recently launched a growing popular class of WSN in which mobility plays a key role in the execution of the application. In recent years, mobility has become an important area of research for the WSN community. The increasing capabilities and the decreasing costs of mobile sensors make mobile sensor networks possible and practical. Although WSN deployments were never envisioned to be fully static, mobility was initially regarded as having several challenges that needed to be overcome, including connectivity, coverage, and energy consumption, among others. However, recent studies have been showing mobility in a more favorable light. In this article, an overview of proposals that evaluate mobile communication in WSNs is presented.

Description: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is vulnerable to node capture attacks in which an attacker can capture one or more sensor nodes and reveal all stored security information which enables him to compromise a part of the WSN communications. Due to large number of sensor nodes and lack of information about deployment and hardware capabilities of sensor node, key management in wireless sensor networks has become a complex task. Limited memory resources and energy constraints are the other issues of key management in WSN. Hence an efficient key management scheme is necessary which reduces the impact of node capture attacks and consume less energy. In this study, we develop a cluster based technique for key management in wireless sensor network.
